Swimming for beginners

The basic principles of swimming are learned through game play: breathing into the water, staying on the surface, sliding. Gradually children proceed to swimming. They learn to crawl and backstroke, as well as diving. The lessons begin with adjusting to water and first exercises in the children's pool, with the second part of the course taking place in the adult pool where the previously acquired skills are consolidated. Children usually learn quickly to swim and by the end of the course can, as a rule, swim 25 metres. The primary swimming competence acquired in childhood creates all the necessary preconditions for pursuing sports swimming even at the highest level - as long as there is the will. In addition to this, swimming is good for the child's health. After the 24-hour swimming lessons children can join lesson groups.
