HOUSE RULES

To ensure a safe and pleasant visit, please follow these instructions. That way, you and other visitors will have a great time at the Aura Centre.

  • The swimming pool, water park, and sauna centre are environments with a higher than normal risk of danger, so it is important that you read and act according to these rules, adequately assess your own abilities and state of health, and that the person responsible for a child does the same for the child. Aura Centre is not a place to test your abilities or the capabilities or durability of the centre’s building and equipment.
  • When at the Aura Centre, follow the provided signs and directions. If any questions arise, do not hesitate to ask the service staff.
  • Aura Centre employs instructors to promote safety, to enforce safety rules, and to provide first aid, but the primary responsibility for any damage to health or property that may occur during the use of services of Aura Centre and as a result of such use is on the consumer of the services, i.e. the visitor, or in the case of a child, the adult accompanying the child, or the person who has allowed the child to use the services of Aura Centre (if the adult accompanying the child is not with the child). Aura Centre does not guarantee surveillance at all times, at all locations in the centre or personally for each visitor.
  • Aura Centre is not responsible for any injury or damage to the health of the visitor and will not compensate for any resulting damages.
  • To ensure the safety of our visitors, the Aura Centre has partial video surveillance.
  • All swimmers, including small children, are obligated to wear swimwear. It is recommended to swim in traditional swimsuits and swim shorts. Do not swim in shorts with pockets. Studs, snap fasteners, zippers, and buttons on swimwear are not allowed as they might damage tube slides and other fixtures.
  • To prevent unpleasant surprises, the use of a swimming diaper is required for children under 2 years of age (and older, if needed).
  • Move calmly in the building. The floors might be wet and slippery. By running on wet floors, you will endanger your health and that of other visitors.
  • The Aura Centre has plenty of toilets and rubbish bins – use them.
  • Visitors in a state of inebriation, people with heavily soiled, unpleasantly smelling clothes, or people who otherwise significantly disturb other visitors will not be allowed into the Aura Centre.
  • Visitors who disrupt the normal day-to-day work and/or functioning of the centre with their actions or behaviour will not be allowed into the Aura Centre.
  • If you notice a fellow visitor acting in a manner that is inappropriate, dangerous, or damaging to the centre’s property, notify an employee of the centre immediately.
  • The service staff has the right to make remarks to the visitor about inappropriate activities and, in case of repeated or significant violations of the house rules, to ask them to leave without compensating the ticket price.
  • No pets are allowed at the Aura Centre.
  • Food and drinks purchased from the café must be consumed on the premises of the café. Consumption of your own food and drinks is not allowed.
  • Smoking, vaping, and the consumption of strong alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited at the Aura Centre. The service staff has the right to confiscate the aforementioned substances without returning them and without compensation.
  • Filming and photography are prohibited in the Aura Centre without the consent of OÜ Tartu Veekeskus.
  • When taking pictures of yourself or your family member(s), please make sure that no fellow visitors are on the photos.

 

Buying tickets and paying for the service

  • By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have sufficient physical abilities, skills, and health to use the services offered by the centre. Children’s chaperones are responsible for their skills and health.
  • By purchasing a ticket, you confirm your obligation to adhere to the centre’s rules and safety regulations (of attractions).
  • Children under 5 years of age have free entry to the centre only with an adult chaperone who has redeemed their ticket, and they must use their chaperone’s locker.
  • Children up to 10 years of age (incl.) can enter the centre under the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the child, and must be accompanied by a chaperone of at least 18 years of age.
  • A child of up to 10 years of age and their chaperone are obligated to purchase tickets for the same zone.
  • Minors can be in the centre under the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
  • From the age of 7, children will dress in men’s/women’s changing rooms, respectively.
  • A family ticket can include up to two adults and two children under the age of 18.
  • The discount ticket can be redeemed by presenting a valid student card of the Republic of Estonia, an ISIC/ITIC card, or a pension certificate and work ability card of the Republic of Estonia.
  • A chaperone can enter the centre for free when accompanying a person who has a severe or profound disability that prevents them from visiting the centre independently and who therefore needs the assistance of a chaperone (e.g. blind people).
  • To receive a discount, the corresponding certificate, card, etc. must be presented before starting the transaction.
  • We ask you to check the tickets, purchased goods, and change immediately after making the purchase. Later claims will not be satisfied.
  • Employees of the Aura Centre have the right to ask for a document to identify the age or the basis of the discount.
  • When purchasing a ticket, you must enter the changing rooms within 10 minutes.

 

The wristband and personal belongings

  • When purchasing a ticket, you will be given a visitor zone wristband at the register. You can use this to move around the centre and open and close the lockers in the changing room. Blue wristband – the swimming pool; red wristband – the saunas of the sauna centre; yellow wristband – the water park (this includes the swimming pool); green wristband – the sauna centre (this includes the water park and the swimming pool).
  • The wristband must be worn in a visible place throughout your stay in the centre. Changing the wristband is not allowed. Taking the wristband out of the Aura Centre is prohibited.
  • When exiting, return the wristband to the return machine at the exit turnstile.
  • Issued wristbands will not be exchanged without a valid reason.
  • The wristband becomes invalid upon exiting.
  • If the wristband is lost, please inform the service staff immediately. There will be a chance to find it if you report it immediately. If you find someone else’s lost wristband, please hand it over to the service staff.
  • If the wristband is lost or damaged, its value must be compensated according to the price list.
  • It is possible to rent a towel or dressing gown from the cash desk of the Aura Centre, according to the valid price list. Use them prudently and return them to the designated place upon leaving.
  • Do not leave personal items, your wristband, or valuable items unattended.
  • Valuable items (documents, money, car keys, etc.) can be left in the safe at the cash desk. If desired, the key to the safe can be left at the cash desk during your stay in the centre.
  • The Aura Centre is not responsible for personal or valuable items left in the foyer, changing rooms, or lockers. The centre is also not responsible for ruined swimwear.
  • If you forgot something at the Aura Centre, come and retrieve it as soon as possible. We keep found things for a maximum of one month.
  • When exiting, return all things rented or given to you by the Aura Centre for a more convenient use of the service – do not leave them in the changing room.
  • If you use the equipment of the Aura Centre (baby chairs, bathtubs, etc.), leave them clean in their original place after use.

 

Visiting time

  • There is no time limit on the visit for those who bought a single ticket.
  • The visiting time for group and birthday bookings is 3 hours (including entry and exit). The visiting time will start from the purchase of the ticket. The visiting time ends when the wristband is returned to the return machine.
  • Ticket sales close 30 minutes before the centre closes.
  • We ask you to leave the building by the time the centre is closed, at the latest.
  • The water park attractions close 15 minutes before the centre closes.

 

Changing rooms and washrooms

  • In the changing room, choose an available locker, change, and close the locker door. The instructions for opening and closing the locker are given on the locker door.
  • The locker can be opened and closed multiple times. Make sure to check the locker is properly closed.
  • If you have forgotten the number of your locker, you can check it from the readers in the changing rooms.
  • Be considerate of other visitors in the changing room.
  • Do not hang from the locker door or climb in the locker. This might lead to an accident or the activation of the cabinet’s alarm system.
  • Before entering the swimming pool, waterpark, and sauna centre, wash yourself thoroughly and remove make-up from your face. This way, you will help keep the water at the Aura Centre clean.
  • Dyeing hair, applying various body care products, shaving, manicure and pedicure, and other similar activities are prohibited.
  • After washing, dry yourself before entering the changing room.
  • Leave the locker door open when you leave.

 

The swimming pool

  • Wash yourself before entering the pool, and we recommend you do it after swimming too. This way, you will help keep the water at the Aura Centre clean.
  • Keep your long hair in a braid or use a swimming cap.
  • Choose a place for swimming according to your skills and health condition. Maintain control over your activities.
  • Be mindful of other visitors, pay attention to children.
  • If necessary, it is possible to use swimming aids – you can request them from the instructor. When using pool equipment and accessories, do so prudently and return them to their place after use.
  • In the large pool, follow the lane markings. Pay attention to training and group lessons, do not swim in their lanes. Right-hand traffic applies in the swimming lanes.
  • Swimming is an individual activity – do not hang on the neck of a fellow swimmer, do not tug at or push them.
  • Do not swim across lanes – you can change lanes by swimming under the lane. It is forbidden to stand or sit on the rails.
  • Diving is only allowed in the large pool. Diving head-first is allowed from the starting stands, you can jump feet-first from the swimming lanes. Somersaults are not allowed. Jumping into the learning pool is prohibited.
  • Be mindful of other visitors in the sauna. Observe how you feel – do not overdo it.

 

The waterpark

  • Wash yourself before visiting the waterpark. This way, you will help keep the water at the Aura Centre clean.
  • Choose a place for swimming according to your skills and health condition. Maintain control over your activities.
  • Be mindful of other visitors, pay attention to children.
  • Diving is prohibited in the learning pool and in the waterpark.
  • Get acquainted with the instructions for the tube slides before using them.
  • Use tube slides at your own risk. The Aura Centre is not responsible for possible health or material damage in case of non-observance of the instructions of the tube slides and traffic lights.
  • Always wait for the green light when using a tube slide.
  • When sliding, you must be on your back or sitting with your feet in front, hands on your chest.
  • It is forbidden to slide head-first, back-first, on your knees, or with someone else (excluding a small child and their parent).
  • Do not use glasses, accessories, and other objects that can cause injuries in the tube slide.
  • At the end of the slide, immediately clear the landing area (in the pool) or the braking chute.
  • The use of tube slides is not recommended for pregnant people or people with weak health.
  • Be mindful of other visitors in the sauna. Observe how you feel – do not overdo it.
  • Rinse yourself in the shower before entering the hot tub.
  • The use of shampoos, shower gels, etc. in the hot tub is strictly prohibited.

 

The sauna centre

  • Wash yourself before entering pools and saunas. Take a shower before going to pools, hot tubs, or Japanese baths after the sauna. This way, you will help keep the water at the Aura Centre clean.
  • Choose a sauna or attraction according to your skills and health condition, maintain control over your activities.
  • Be mindful of other visitors, pay attention to children.
  • When steaming in the sauna, be mindful of other visitors. Observe how you feel – do not overdo it.
  • When throwing water on the heater, use warm water, and throw a reasonable amount of water on the dry stones. The heater cannot fulfil its task if it is ‘drowned’. Do not throw anything other than hot water on the heater.
  • The use of personal sauna whisks or aromatic substances is prohibited in the saunas.
  • Do not use honey, salt, body scrubs, or other similar substances in the saunas of Aura Centre. This way, you will help keep the saunas clean for other visitors too.
  • Use sauna seat paper or a towel to sit on sauna platforms (except in the steam sauna).
  • Rinse yourself in the shower before entering the hot tub or Japanese bath.
  • The use of shampoos, shower gels, etc. is strictly prohibited in hot tubs and the Japanese bath.
  • Consume enough water! For this purpose, the sauna centre is equipped with drinking water fountains.
  • The consumption of soft drinks is only allowed on the premises of the café. It is forbidden to enter saunas, hot tubs, and recreation areas with drinks.
